The Veteran Artist Program fosters, encourages, and promotes veteran artists through networking, collaborations, mentorships and original productions.
Countless veterans made the brave decision to step away from their art and be a part of something larger than themselves and fight for their country. VAP provides the resources, tools, and networking necessary to take the intentional artist to the next level. We are about collaboration in all genres of art with an emphasis on bringing together the veteran and artistic communities.
The arts have always been the mechanism that a society uses to portray, understand, document, and affect change. As veterans with a unique world perspective, we have the opportunity to not only redefine the veteran as an artist, but influence the communities we live in by being intentional with our creative endeavors.
