Kids Video Connection

Kids Video Connection is a non-profit educational media arts organization. Our mission is to teach children media literacy and effective communication skills through the study and application of the disciplines and techniques of video production. Currently, children are bombarded with more information through the Internet and print media than any other time in history. It is imperative that children learn media literacy skills to analyze and understand messages conveyed through the media. We conduct video workshops to teach children media literacy, public speaking and video production in after-school programs and summer camps. In addition, we host Kids Video Connection Family Film Festival which promotes positive, educational, and entertaining programs for children and teens. This festival is two weeks of fun and educational activities which includes film screenings and video production workshops.
