About Us

The Alliance to End Hunger is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that engages diverse institutions in building the public and political will to end hunger at home and abroad. Comprised of more than 90 members—including corporations, development NGOs, advocacy groups, universities, and faith based organizations—we work to develop innovative partnerships; political commitment among our leaders; and global connections among groups working to end hunger worldwide. The Alliance and its members believe that a country and a world without hunger is a goal within our reach and that it is the responsibility of individuals, communities, and governments to make it happen.

The Alliance's Director, Tony P. Hall, is a retired congressman and former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N Agencies for Food and Agriculture in Rome. Three times nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, Ambassador Hall is a leading advocate for hunger relief programs and improving human rights in the world.
