Inkwell Community Resource Center

we are a nonprofit corporation organized to create an arts/educational/activist space in Chicago. Our 501(c)3 application was recently approved by the IRS, and now we are trying to move into the next phase of the project. We hope to obtain a space in the city within the next year that will support the local art/music scene and act as a hub for activism and education. We strongly promote the DIY work ethic and hope to provide others with the knowledge and support to become more self reliant via our educational programs.

Inkwell is still in its early stages, and we are in need of others to help us move forward with this project. Specifically, we need people with computer/web skills, people with grant writing experience, people to design and write programs, and anyone else who is generally interested in volunteering their time.
