Joni and Friends Charlotte

  • About Us

Joni and Friends Charlotte was established as an Area Ministry in 1995. We work with individuals and families affected by disability, to encourage and connect them with a church family. Our program is three-fold: (1) We provide training and information for churches to start a disability program within their church. (2) We provide support and bring relief to families affected by disability by hosting a week long summer retreat where families are offered practicial worshops, caring and trained volunteers to assist, and fun for all. (3) We collect, repair, and then distribute wheelchairs in developing countries, where the cost of a chair can be more than a year's wages.
