Portland New Family Fund

MISSON STATEMENT:

To provide financial assistance to low-income parents for birth doulas, postpartum doulas and newborn lactation/feeding services. 

To preserve doula care as a sustainable business, we fairly compensate birth professionals as part of our equity model.

VISION STATEMENT:

We believe the health of new and expanding families is a top priority in the U.S. Our vision is to see all new parents have the resources they need to grow their family with enough support to thrive physically, emotionally and mentally. 

We provide birth doulas, postpartum doulas and Lactation Consulting to low income families. Portland New Family Fund pays doulas and Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) a living wage/compensation to provide these services to families.
