Coming Alongside

  • About Us

According to the World Health Organization, 40% of preventable disease is caused by environmental pollution and 25% of the U.S. environmental health pie is now indoor air. Arsenic, formaldehyde, lead, benzene, pesticides, insecticides ... How does anyone make good choices in the midst of long lists of concerns, frequent news stories, and multiple alarm bells?

Coming Alongside, a non-profit environmental services organization, is committed to making sense of it all and handing every citizen the capacity to understand and act on environmental pollution using cost-effective, well-prioritized, and scientifically sound strategies. We seek to make transparent the biological and chemical hazards in our everyday environments, so that individuals, regardless of race, ethnic origin, or socioeconomic status, can be empowered to reduce exposure to and impacts of these everyday environments.
