    CARE “Creating A Responsible Environment” for the Cape and Islands was established to inspire stewardship to preserve and protect the region's natural environment, culture and history through sustainable travel. CARE exists to educate, support and create opportunities for visitors and residents to reduce their environmental impact through its grants and special projects. Currently, a significant focus of our organization's work conducting outreach within the community to help reduce waste and litter from single-use plastic.
