About Us

"We are a liberal church which values the inherent worth and dignity of each person regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, age, physical ability, or place of origin." We welcome you. When discovering a Unitarian Universalist congregation for the first time, individuals often feel that they have finally arrived at their true church home. There is that sense of relief and gratitude that there are indeed others who enjoy exploring with an open mind the great questions of human existence; who consider non-traditional approaches to spiritual matters; and who view the natural world with a wide openness to its mysteries. The atmosphere of free thought and respect for the right of individuals to develop their own personal theologies can be a profound and refreshing change from more familiar and dogmatic organized religions.

Unitarian Universalism does not require adherence to any particular creed but encourages a willingness to learn from many sources of enlightenment -- including the teachings of many world religions, the arts, and science.

We welcome you and hope you will feel at home in our church community.
