About Us
Meowroof is a volunteer run animal rescue and community environmental protection organization. We carry on TNR programs year round, provide shelters for strays during the winter and educate community on how to balance an animal friendly living environment.Form rescue work to foster care, to adoption, we strive to do our best. It is then we realized we need to expand our program and promote our organization.
Our mission is to provide temporary shelter to stray, abanded, neglected, injuried, ill and unwanted animals for the purpose of finding permanent suitable new homes. We strive to educate the public about respecting and understanding of coexisting with the natural wildlife through our spay/neuter programs and events.
- We promote scientific ways of pet feeding and medical treatment.
- We advocate treating pets as family members not toys. It is a life time commitment.
- We promote spay & neuter, adption than buying and agnist private breeding.
- We are abosolutely aganist animal abuse and inhumane treatment, including products such as fur, shark fin, and bear bile etc.
- We provide outreach to the community and provide pet food donations and other assistance to those caregivers/rescuers.
