Video Action League

About Us

Hoping to create a fresh approach to the queer rights movement, the Video Action League was formed. Settling for nothing less than worldwide queer equality, VAL aims to transform, inspire, and educate through the use of new media.

The Video Action League believes that new media is the most effective mode of communication and the future of the queer rights movement. We have put down our picket signs and traded them for flip cameras. We have reimagined our sit-ins and traded them for guerrilla theatre. We have torn up our leaflets and traded them for viral videos.

We strive to transform the modes with which people feel change is enacted. We strive to inspire new generations of queer activists to fight for nothing less than first-class citizenship. We strive to educate people about the issues that oppress us so they may become a part of popular political discourse.
