  • About Us

Brooklyn For Peace is committed to helping build a world free of war and the social injustices that are its causes. We seek to educate our community and ourselves on international and domestic issues so that we can be effective in securing a peaceful future.

We work to promote US policies based not on violence, but on promoting peace, democracy, human rights, and respect for international law.

Brooklyn For Peace was founded originally as Brooklyn Parents for Peace, in 1984. We organize forums that offer solid analysis on international and domestic policies, coordinate community meetings, set up information tables, participate in phone and advertising campaigns, meet with elected officials and participate in demonstrations.
