About Us

Wal-Mart Watch is a project of Five Stones and the Center for Community & Corporate Ethics, non-profit organizations founded in November 2004 to study the impact of large corporations on society and to develop a set of standards for responsible corporate behavior. Its first major project is Wal-Mart Watch, whose objectives are: (1) to educate communities about what is often referred to as the ‘Wal-Marting’ of the economy; (2) to create a clearinghouse for development of policy proposals and community standards; and (3) to act as a hub to advance learning, develop alliances, coordinate research, and work together more effectively. For more information, please see our website: www.walmartwatch.com.
