Advocate +

Advocate+ is dedicated to the development and empowerment of disadvantaged groups, and especially women and children, and tribal families through grassroots action, income generating enterprises, entrepreneurship and education. The movement is also dedicated to promoting and protecting the social rights of the most vulnerable people especially women and children. We see the status of the local natural environment as key in the development process. Since the poor and marginalized people lack the resources needed to reduce the negative effects of degraded environment, a damaged natural environment will hit the most vulnerable groups of society hardest. At the same time, people living with scarce resources are usually directly dependent on the natural environment for their daily survival. Advocate + therefore addresses cross-cutting issues of environmental protection especially through sustainable agricultural practices and gender empowerment.
