Clean Energy Leadership Institute
The Clean Energy Leadership Institute (CELI) is a 501(c)(3) leadership development organization based in Washington, D.C.
CELI recruits Fellows with diverse backgrounds and equips them with a strong working knowledge of energy markets and policy, realized through the Clean Energy Leaders Fellowship program.
Through our unique approach of providing policy training and fostering a dynamic community of experts and peers, CELI is bridging the gap between today’s leaders in the clean energy economy— and the leaders of tomorrow.
The Clean Energy Leadership Institute (CELI) was founded in 2013 by Adam James and Jackie Weidman to address a critical need: a new generation of leaders in the clean energy space will be necessary to address pressing environmental problems such as climate change, while promoting new economic opportunities.
CELI seeks to empower young professionals for leadership positions in the clean energy field and to restore a dialogue between different disciplines and fields that is largely absent in today’s political and policy environment.
We believe that to positively affect change, we must bring together this next generation of passionate, talented young people and unlock their potential to push forth new ideas and to lead the advancement of principled solutions to these challenges.
