Friendship Charity Association

Friendship Charity Association (FCA) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization serving as a bridge between donors and local communities. It was registered according to the Chinese law Qinghai Province, PR China in October 2008.

Vision: A better future for the impoverished people of East-Central Qinghai.

FCA’s mission is to promote impoverished disadvantaged communities by assisting locally identified needs in five main areas:

• basic education
• rural development
• health care
• environment protection
• cultural preservation

We believe that our goals are best achieved by:

• A participatory approach to researching local conditions;
• Strengthening communication between organizations, donors, and volunteers to conduct project planning;
• Building local capacity; and
• Sharing results and experiences with other local organizations.
