About Us
Teach for Myanmar (TFM) matches volunteers with community organizations that need educational support. Our volunteers have the unique experience of immersing themselves in Myanmar culture by teaching English and social science to young adults in Myanmar (Burma).
TFM offers our volunteers a rewarding experience teaching students who are hungry for knowledge and helping them pursue their goals related to the social, civic, and general development of the country. We look for volunteers that are passionate about education. Teaching experience is a plus, but not required. Volunteer commitments range from 10 weeks to 12 months.
TFM is a not-for-profit program based in Yangon, Myanmar. It is free to volunteer with TFM, and we even offer some financial support upon request.
