About Us
Our mission is to provide mental health care to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families in Montgomery County, MD. A cornerstone of our mission is to provide preventive and early intervention services. We provide office-based counseling to clients with insurance, and uninsured clients who pay on a sliding fee scale. We also have special community projects targeted to high-risk, low-income clients. These include AMIGO (school-based mental health care), Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies (counseling for uninsured new mothers and pregnant women with depression), the Positive Aging Project (workshops, counseling and case management for seniors), and Community Cares (counseling for uninsured clients at a local primary health care clinic).
