About Us
Pursue: Action for a Just World, a project of American Jewish World Service and AVODAH: The Jewish Service Corps, engages young people at the intersection where their Jewish values meet their passion for social justice, building a community that takes action to create social change. We offer a new opportunity to work together toward a just world within and beyond the Jewish community.
Pursue was founded in 2006 as the AJWS-AVODAH Partnership. With national and regional staff in New York, Washington D.C., and the Bay Area, Pursue works with Jewish 20- and 30-somethings and like-minded organizations to build and strengthen the Jewish social justice movement through educational programs, networking events, leadership trainings, action opportunities, celebrations and more.
