My Furry Valentine

My Furry Valentine is an animal adoption advocacy organization with a focus on reducing the number of companion animals euthanized in the Tri-State. We host an annual Mega Adoption in February and aim to help shift the public mindset to make “adoption the first option” when looking for a new pet. Our Mega Adoption event provides the platform to bring together homeless animals from the area's shelters and rescue groups with thousands of potential adopters. Now approaching its sixth year, the My Furry Valentine Mega Adoption is Cincinnati’s largest and most beloved companion animal event. We feature more than 700 animals from approximately organizations under one roof, with more groups and organizations participating at other locations throughout the city. In our first five years, we have facilitated the adoption of nearly 3,000 animals.
