  • About Us

Our goal at the National Farmers Market Association is to help people in the community find a safe, healthy, and stimulating environment at your local farmers market where people of all ages are encouraged to explore, grow socially, creatively, physically and intellectually. We believe the farmers market is not only about having access fresh, local produce and natural foods but it is also about the arts and crafts, music, creative play, and community education that visitors are exposed to when visiting their local market. NFMA promotes and encourages through education and outreach the idea of a better model of our farmers market of yesterday, for the generation of tomorrow. You can help us with our continous improvement efforts by volunteering today!
