About Us

The YWCA of the Sauk Valley's history is proud and our achievements are countless.

The Sauk Valley area can always count on this YWCA to help make our communities stronger and our future look brighter.

Established in 1924, the YWCA of the Sauk Valley is the women's center in the counties of Lee and Whiteside in northern Illinois.  Our high-quality services do more than just meet the needs of the Sauk Valley area, they make our communities a better place to live.

Our YWCA is one of more than 200 YWCAs across the USA and many more worldwide that are dedicated to eliminating racism and empowering women.  We fight for peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all people.

It's simple.  We make a difference every day.

Connect with us for a brighter, stronger future.
