Grandma's Kids at The Intergenerational Center

About Us

Grandma’s Kids kinship program provides after- school and family support services to children in out-of-home placement (kinship, foster care, group homes, etc.).

Grandma’s Kids is dedicated to assisting kinship caregivers and their children by creating greater awareness of appropriate resources, as well as, providing access to cultural, recreational, academic and counseling opportunities. We aim to advocate for a population of families who require a nurturing support system from a person-in-environment “systemic” perspective.

Grandma’s Kids’ mission is to support children living with non-traditional parents academically, psycho-socially and emotionally to build towards a healthy and enlightening future via cultural, social, clinical and educational experience.
