    Sunday Assembly Portland is part of a secular global movement of wonder and good. We encourage each other to "live better, help often, and wonder more."

    Many people worldwide seek community, positivity and compassion and are looking for non-religious alternatives to provide them. We hold monthly Assemblies to sing and dance with live music, listen to inspiring talks by local experts, and generally celebrate the wonder of life!

    Unique from other free-thinking groups, Sunday Assembly Portland states in it's charter: "We don't do supernatural but we also won't tell you you're wrong if you do."

    Between Assemblies we have small groups that focus on a wide range of interests as well as volunteer projects in the Portland area. We strive to be radically inclusive, family-friendly, and supportive as we take full advantage of this one life we know we have.
