    The Center strives to become a national leader in translational behavioral medicine research, training, and education.

    The mission of the Center is to:

    • Develop, test, evaluate, and spread innovative evidence-based behavioral interventions in routine clinical practice and community-based settings.
    • Promote education and training in translational behavioral medicine research leading to the development of a new cadre of investigators with expertise in this field.
    • Serve as a resource for researchers in the development of conceptual, theoretical and applied models of health behavior change through inter- and multidisciplinary collaboration.
