    Farm King is the school garden at Thomas Starr King Middle School in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles. Our mission is to create hands-on, outdoor learning opportunities for King students in science, math, art, civics, writing, history, and nutrition. The garden enriches students' learning by partnering with volunteers from the community to reinforce both standards-based learning as well as lessons in stewardship, leadership and service. Farm King strives to foster engaged and active learning in a school garden setting. Farm King is part of EnrichLA, a non-profit dedicated to creating school gardens across the city.
