About Us

The linkAges TimeBank is a neighborhood service-exchange network that matches volunteers with the unique skills, talents and needs of those who live nearby. Connect with community members who share your interests, and help one another.

As a member, you earn hours by providing services, and use those hours to receive services in return. Through the linkAges TimeBank website, members can connect with each other, find service listings and track their exchange hours. Since this is a neighborly service exchange, we do ask individuals to complete a basic volunteer background check before participating. Membership is free.

We launched in 2013 as part of a larger PAMF Innovation Center initiative that supports older adults and family caregivers. We currently have over 500 members ranging in age from 18 to 94. Together, we’ve completed more than 1,700 hours of services! There are hundreds of service opportunities around gardening, cooking, transportation, technology help, and more.

The linkAges TimeBank is currently available in the following communities: San Carlos, Redwood City, Palo Alto, Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Los Altos, Saratoga, and surrounding areas.
