About Us

Health Emergency Lifeline Programs (HELP) was founded in 1986 to provide emergency services and bridge health disparities for low income individuals and for people who are at risk, infected or affected by HIV/AIDS.

HELP constantly strives to promote our clients’ overall quality of life. Annually we assist over 1,200 individuals and families living in Southeast Michigan.

HELP Provides:

• Housing and utility assistance • Food vouchers and nutritional supplements • Nutritional counseling • Assistance accessing medical care • Medical case management services • Mental health counseling and emotional support • Access to medications, insurance and other benefits
