About Us
At the British Council, our mission is to connect people around the world to foster the understanding, leadership, innovation and research needed to confront the issue of global climate change. To realise this mission, the British Council has developed a Climate Change Programme with a series of specific projects falling under four overarching themes – Understand, Lead, Innovate and Research – which aim to tackle climate change by encouraging community action, cultural exchange, political agreement, business co-operation and scientific collaboration.
