    Tamam is a politically and religiously independent aid organization working with improving the living conditions of children and youth in Sweden and other countries. Tamam started in May 2008 and is based in Lund, Sweden. The group works for the rights of children and youth and for their improved living conditions, according to the UNs declaration of human rights.

    The organization shall fulfill its purpose through help-to-self help, focusing on the creation of multicultural meetings places. The aim is to promote trust, tolerance, solidarity, power of initiative, spirit of community, intercultural dialogue and the growth of social capital. The organization also work to promote an income-generating and sustainable environment for children and youth in exclusion by measures emphasizing self-to-self help.
