To save lives by improving awareness and information about breast cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.

Research: Belva will lead the quest to provide research funding into non-traditional cancer prevention and treatment options. We will replace specific emphasis on understanding the link between nutrition and breast cancer. Research to demonstrate required changes in the Ghanaian diet ranks as our top priority.

Education: One of the primary goals of Belva will be to teach “integrated cancer care.” We will provide accurate, up-to-date information on mobilizing the “whole person” in cancer prevention, treatment and recovery and be pioneers in educating the public about breast cancer prevention, early detection, treatment, survival and quality of life.

Advocacy: Belva will promote public health policies for the prevention of breast cancer and the support of people afflicted by breast cancer.

Support: Belva will establish a “Help Now Fund”. Working through cancer treatmentcentres nationally, the “Help Now Fund” will provide counselling and emergency financial services to assist women and their families. We will help with the unexpected expenses of cancer such as transportation, treatments and medical bills. Our commitment is to provide Emotional, Financial and Medical Support to every woman going through breast cancer.
