Mote Oo Education

Mote Oo Education's aim is to promote social change through providing affordable and responsive educational materials and services. We support community educators in building a just and peaceful society in Myanmar through teacher training and curriculum development.

We are a small, locally-run and community-­focused organisation which specializes in creating teacher training programs and quality educational materials for teachers of adults and young adults. Trainings are tailor-made for the needs of teachers and organisations, and are systematized to build upon previous trainings, classroom time and observations.

Our materials are designed to meet the needs of teachers and students of English and the social sciences. In 2013, there will be an increased focus on civic education, active citizenship, and governance. Mote Oo Education will also advise other education providers on their curriculum and provide access to high-quality, commercially-available curriculum from major publishers.
