    ISCA-AIDC is a non-governmental, not-for-profit organization with a goal of supporting communities throughout the world. ISCA-AIDC believes in the right to self-determination, the dignity of each individual and incorporates dialogue, mutual respect, fairness and consideration of local culture, resources and capacities in all its activities.

    ISCA-AIDC's work focuses on three pillars:

    Pillar 1 – Community Livelihood Development: ISCA-AIDC supports community livelihood development through the promotion of best practices in livestock and crop production and marketing. ISCA-AIDC utilizes a value chain approach to identify and mitigate risks to community livelihood activities and improve their sustainability.

    Pillar 2 – Democracy and Governance: ISCA-AIDC believes that good governance and democratic principles are vital to community growth and transformation. ISCA-AIDC supports training in democratic processes and election/referendum observation missions.

    Pillar 3 – Cooperative Development: A shared vision can be a powerful transformative tool! A cooperative approach formalizes this vision and develops strategies to achieve successful outcomes. ISCA-AIDC supports communities by assisting cooperative development and approaches to achieving their goals.
