American Society of Legal Scholars

We are a community outreach organization dedicated to the idea that education empowers. Our free seminars empower vulnerable groups by teaching employment, immigration, criminal, and other rights.

We also lecture youths on the role of government and legal rights. Results of a recent civics exam by the U.S. Department of Education show that only 10% of 8th-graders demonstrated an acceptable level of knowledge of the checks and balances of the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of government. Our seminars review the importance and limits of each branch and discuss the role of agencies in modern America.
