Center for Sustainable Development - Pakistan

The Center for Sustainable Development (CSD) Private Limited is a Pakistan-based capacity-building organization with a mission to promote socio-economic transformation. CSD was established in 2020, it has been established set up to serve the development sector as a private sector business development service provider. In 2022, the Center for Sustainable Development (CSD) was registered with the Securities Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) Corporate Identification No. 0195631 under section 16 of the Companies Act (XIX 2017).

The Center for Sustainable Development (CSD) emerged as a response to the challenges faced by the young people and civil society of Pakistan, with regards to fight against social injustice, governance issues, ad poverty. CSD is aimed at the socio-political transformation of citizens and institutions through establishing, educating, engaging, and growing communities and public institutions for a prosperous and healthy society. This will be accomplished by diversifying the efforts of different stakeholders including youth, civil society organizations, media persons, academia, researchers, lawyers, trade unions, and elected representatives for policy reforms and implementation.
