Afrika Tikkun UK

Afrika Tikkun is dedicated to the reduction of youth unemployment in South Africa by tackling the socio-economic drivers that make it difficult for young people to access the economy as productive citizens.

With an investment in five community resource centres in disadvantaged communities; we are able to afford young people the opportunity to receive educational, personal development and structured support services for them and their families. The community centres deliver a variety of developmental services to young people in Orange Farm; Alexandra; Diepsloot and Braampark (Gauteng) and Mfuleni (Western Cape).

We aim to reduce unemployment by empowering young people in the context of the family. Which is why, we focus on education, personal development, nutrition, health, family support, skills development, and ultimately work placement. This approach defines our Cradle-to-Career model.
