Open Movements

Open Movements connects socially engaged people with locally rooted social movements to create a platform through which each movements’ actors can share their achievements and innovations with the international community. Our pilot program is dedicated to exploring the Recovered Business Movement in Argentina, where workers are shedding light on the immense potential of democratic management and workplace recovery as a means to create real jobs, fight capital flight and build a society based on equality and responsibility.Our programs give individuals interested in contributing to a more sustainable future the chance to directly engage with this revolutionary social movement that is rebuilding the economy at the grassroots level. Our program participants build the bridges between the recovered businesses and the rest of the world, learning directly from those making history happen.
