The mission of Marketing EDGE is to Educate, Develop, Grow, and Employ college students in the field of marketing – thereby expanding and enriching the pool of trained, market-ready talent for generations to come.

It’s not every day that a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization celebrates its 50th Anniversary, as Marketing EDGE is doing in 2016.  Even more remarkable are the estimated 100,000 students nationwide who have benefitted from the programs offered by the organization throughout the decades… which was made possible thanks to the commitment and passion of industry leaders who continue to support the organization through tax-deductible contributions.   To this day, Marketing EDGE remains the only national organization of its kind solely devoted to cultivating marketing industry talent, leadership and diversity among next-generation professionals. 

Marketing EDGE’s corporate sponsors include the most distinguished leaders in the industry, and the student participants in its competitions and programs are some of the most enterprising talent entering the business world.  This unique intersection affords Marketing EDGE constituents the opportunity to network with and learn from the most prominent industry leaders, and for those sponsors at the highest levels of support, an opportunity to gain access to top talent matriculating from the country’s leading schools. 

With the business of marketing expanding rapidly and the economy growing, Marketing EDGE is on the precipice of critical change … an exciting time of innovation, advancement and growth.  Thanks to its five decades of consistent outreach and engagement, the organization is primed to build on its deep relationships with brands ranging from Google and Facebook, to IBM and Ernst & Young, to name a few.  It’s beneficial to note similar deep relationships at the academic level, with strong ties to Ivy Leagues like Harvard and Wharton, to major state schools as geographically diverse as UCLA, University of Georgia, University of Texas and Northwestern.  Marketing EDGE is in prime position to expand its programs to meet the needs of the marketplace.
