About Us

Founded in 2014, the Faith Matters Network is a people of color led collective working to equip 21st century faith leaders with the tools to build healthy, equitable communities.

Together, we:

1. Train marginalized people of faith, primarily people of color, in ways to live out an activist theology that supports our everyday work of collective liberation, and create bridges with those who are equally invested in dismantling systems of oppression.

2. Convene collaborative spaces that spark the moral imagination of leaders and challenge them to unearth their own stories that challenge the dominant narratives that perpetuate injustice in our world.

3. Connect leaders by creating communal spaces that uplift and support the holistic well-being of these prophetic voices.

4. Amplify the voices of leaders whose contributions are often overlooked and exploited
