Wise Readers to Leaders

Wise Readers to Leaders is a non-profit literacy and enrichment summer program offered without cost to Kinder-8th grade students from Title I schools in the Los Angeles area. This program aims to prevent learning loss during the summer while simultaneously providing enrichment activities that foster self confidence and generate a more positive attitude towards learning. In addition, parents are provided with weekly workshops on relevant topics such as parenting skills, financial literacy, and more. We provide a powerful, fun, and transformative summer for our at-risk LAUSD scholars through an innovative and exciting curriculum that emphasizes literacy and instills a love of reading and self-confidence that bolsters academic success.
