    Mission Statement: Youth and Family Outreach creates opportunities that support learning and enhance the quality of life for children, teens, and families in Greater Portland.

    YFO operates an early care and education facility which was established in 1986. We are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, a level 4 on Maine's Quality Rating System and state licensed. We offer services to Greater Portland families with children 6 weeks to five years of age. Our priority population is teen parents, and homeless parents. Providing care for children in a diverse environment that includes families from all socioeconomic, racial and ethnic groups is an important part of YFO.
