About Us
North Star Academy - West Side Park Middle School is the newest addition to the North Star Academy Charter School network located in Newark, NJ. We currently serve 87 5th grade students from the Newark area. Our purpose and goal is to provide every single child with an effective education that will lead them to successfully be accepted to and graduate from college. Our small, but dedicated, hardworking staff works tirelessly to provide each student with the best possible education. Through a co-leader model, our school very efficiently provides proper instruction while also creating operational systems that make each school day the most productive possible. Our ultimate goal is to send every child to college, no matter their circumstances.
