People Assisting The Homeless San Diego

San Diego, CA

About Us

PATH got its start in 1984 when a group of concerned community members came together to provide food and clothing to homeless individuals out of the basement of a Westside church. More than 30 years later, it has transformed into a statewide organization providing services at 25 locations. Although the majority of our programs are centered in Los Angeles County, we work in communities from as far south as San Diego to as far north as San Jose. Our mission is to end homelessness for individuals, families, and communities. The overarching objective of all of our programs is to help the people we serve achieve lasting housing stability, and we do this through a holistic, individualized approach to services. We target three populations that have been identified as extremely vulnerable on the streets: chronically homeless individuals, homeless veterans, and homeless families.
