Since 1995, A Helping Hand (AHH) has set a standard for high caliber senior support services. The mission of AHH is to promote self-sufficiency, quality of life, and the highest level of independence for older adults and individuals with disabilities. Regardless of ability to pay, services are provided to clients throughout Orange, Durham, Chatham, and western Wake Counties.

AHH offers an innovative response to age-related limitations by providing a person-centered approach to care that meets the varying needs of seniors. AHH provides 24/7 companionship services, in-home assistance, door-through-door transportation, and respite care. Services enhance quality of life, promote self-sufficiency, and prevent premature transitions to higher levels of care. Assistance affords individuals the opportunity to remain active and to safely “age in place.”
