The mission of The Center for Policy and Practice in the Workplace is to assist business, labor, government, and the non-profit sectors in creative growth around employment and other social welfare issues in the workplace by developing evidence-based, cost effective, and responsive policies and programs.
Founded in 1969, The Workplace Center at Columbia University is a nationally recognized knowledge bank of innovation and best practice. With a multidisciplinary staff of experts in program development, training, policy analysis, research, education, and consultation, it offers the resources available from a world class university.
