Americans for Libraries Council is a national nonprofit that champions the role of libraries in American life and promotes new approaches to sustaining and developing libraries in the 21st century. Libraries for the Future, the program division of the Council, develops and oversees national programs to strengthen individual libraries and library systems. We achieve this mission through:
· Program models and training to increase equitable and responsive services
· Forums, research and communications on library development and support
· Consulting services for libraries, library Trustees, Friends of libraries, library advocates, state library agencies, educational institutions and foundations
