    Yoga Activist, Inc. builds connections between qualified yoga instructors, social service providers, government agencies and communities that have little or no access to the science of yoga and its use as a self-empowerment tool. We educate yoga instructors in the most effective and benefical teaching practices to bring yoga to communities including but not limited to homeless, trauma survivors, at risk youth, prison populations, and persons with drug and alcohol addiction, mental illness or physical impairment. Yoga Activist also serves as an online community providing teaching, fundraising and outreach tools and resources that support the growth and efficacy of yoga outreach.
