About Us

TPF is the activist wing of the peace movement in Eastern Oklahoma

"Waging Peace One Person at a Time"

Through its counter-recruitment task force, TPF is a member of the National Network in Opposition to the Militarization of Youth (NNOMY) On the web: http://www.nnomy.org/joomla/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=216&Itemid=91

Tulsa Peace Fellowship is a non-partisan grassroots organization. Our promotion of Peace, and our advocacy of a return to a genuine Peacetime with reduced military spending (the "Peace Dividend" that we're owed since the end of the Cold War) will continue until the President takes this country off of a war footing. Instead of belligerence, this nation should make peace, social uplift, and nonviolence its priorities, rather than militarization, empire, and intervention abroad.

"Reduce military spending, Rebuild America!"

At our monthly anti-war demo, members of TPF as well as members of Veterans for Peace, Veterans for Common Sense, the Oklahoma Green Party, progressive Democrats with T-Town DFA and/or United Progressives and/or Just Progress, anti-war Libertarians, and anti-war Republicans, brandish signs in the hopes of raising awareness among Tulsans. Members of the public "Honk for Peace" as they pass through the intersection. Donations accepted.

Create your own sign and join us! Or hold up one of our ready-made signs with various pro-peace messages.

You can now RSVP online, and stay up-to-date with our online calendar of TPF events. http://tulsapeacefellowship.ning.com/events
