The Calabash Consortium, Inc.

About Us

Founded in 2009, the Calabash Consortium, Inc. is an empowerment collective built on the Calabash Model: the ideology that every entity (human or other) holds a resource to empower another. As a registered Caribbean and U.S. 501 (c) (3) non–profit organization, we work to empower youths to achieve their fullest potential and to motivate people to effect positive change within their communities and globally by leveraging the Calabash Model.

The Calabash Consortium is committed to engaging people and communities in a bold, imaginative, reciprocal, and sustained manner. We believe that every human being can be empowered to achieve their fullest potential, their own personal best, and in doing so can help others find the same fulfillment. To actualize this belief we develop innovative initiatives and collborations to foster and elicit action on the awareness that every entity (whether human or other) is a Calabash, and to mobilize others to harness their own potential to empower others.
