AMSONAC (Asociación de Mujeres Sol Naciente de Condega)

We are a small NGO that works with rural and urban women in the municipality of Condega, Nicaragua. We run three main projects which are: • Solar ovens • Women´s Leadership • Natural Fruit Juices

We are also in the process of starting a revolving fund. The aims of the programs are to contribute to the preservation and conservation of the environment through the solar ovens. Through the leadership program we hope that the women will gain the necersary knowledge to feel empowered and achieve social and economic projects that will improve not only their quiality of life but of the community too.
